Founder's Story
Thomas is not only a disabled Air Force veteran, but his unwavering dedication to the well-being of his fellow veterans has been a driving force throughout his life. Recognizing the challenges veterans face, Thomas took action by collaborating with two New York City mayors, working on initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for veterans in the city. His commitment didn't stop there. Upon relocating to South Florida, Thomas established VETS PLACE, a haven where he continues to work tirelessly to meet the diverse needs of veterans, providing essential services and support to help them thrive.

While Vet’s Place, Inc. does not provide direct mental health care, we are proud to serve as a “Fire Watch” site for suicide prevention. Our team is committed to helping veterans connect with the resources they need. If you or someone you know is struggling, we can help guide you to the appropriate support services for mental health and suicide prevention. We are here to assist in finding the care and assistance you deserve.
